One of the most important steps (and my favorite step) is creating a vision board. This is very important because, like everything else in life, you don’t want it to end in disaster by going blind.
I like to start with a vision board so I can clearly see the colors I vibrate, the way they talk to me, and so on. If you’re stuck or don’t know which direction you want to go, create a vision board. . Even if you think the inspiration images you use don’t match, you’ll find that they do eventually (99% of the time).
Everyone has their own style when it comes to creating a vision board. Personally, I like what I do on Pinterest. This is the easiest recipe I’ve found and usually gets as much inspiration as I want.

After you create your vision board on Pinterest, copy and paste the image into Google Docs, print it, cut it, paste it into the board, and voila, your vision board is ready. Also, creating a vision board is both therapeutic and inspiring (did you know I love it?).
As we said before, there are many ways to create a vision board. The best thing for you is to cut a picture out of a magazine, use Instagram, or repost it to Tumblr (we have some great pictures).

Adjust to your taste and keep it as light as possible when it comes to walls and large objects (e.g. furniture, paintings, etc.).
