We recently welcomed another little love into our family. We needed to rearrange the bedroom a bit to accommodate another child’s room. We have a four bedroom house; Primary, bedroom for my boss, home office and guest bedroom.

The only issue was that we needed a spare bedroom and maybe an exercise area. So at this point we felt like we were running out of room.

In our case, we meet guests only occasionally. Maybe once or twice a year, if we go out of town and someone is a housekeeper. For this reason, we weren’t inclined to eliminate the guest space entirely.

After we decided to combine the guest room with the office, we had to figure out how to accommodate both in one office.
Guest Room Setup Simple, Convertible
There are several ways to arrange an office for two; L-shaped desk, extra high single desk with two workstations, two separate desks on opposite walls or two separate desks facing each other.
Since our space required a sofa bed that would need to be pulled out, we decided to start with an L-shaped table.
This allowed each of us to have our own personal workspace. Since the table is along the perimeter of the room, there is still enough space to pull out a sofa bed.
