When I was asked to participate in the Christmas campaign, I was delighted to see the variety of Christmas trees and decorations, and especially, how many of them worked. It goes well with the style and beauty of my office. The office is very pink, so the traditional Christmas colors of red and green are out of the question. I wanted something that would add warmth to the space and work well with the existing decor. So I looked for hot pink and hot metallics and this is exactly what I found.
If you have the space, a full-sized Christmas tree is the perfect way to add that festive feel to a room. Being tall makes a big impact in a room and really draws attention to you. To keep the cost down, I chose a 6-foot Flaked Imperial Pre Lit Pencil Christmas tree because I knew it would still look great without all the decorations hanging. Bubbles can be expensive and I didn’t want the added hassle of storing them year-round, so I decided to keep it simple.
Since the office is so small, I could not save the space for a large tree, so I chose a pencil tree. I still have the height, but it fits perfectly in the corner and does not affect the flow of the room much.

I also dressed up the tree a little by adding a nice soft Christmas tree skirt to the wool. This helped to hide the stone and give it a slightly finished look. I’ve never used a Christmas tree skirt before, but I’m a believer and never will. Small details, right?
If a full-size Christmas tree is not possible, choose a Christmas tree that you can place on your desk or on a pedestal or sideboard. Even a small tree adds a lot to a room and makes it special. Since my office is large, I chose to stand on a full-sized tree and desk.
If wall space is limited, you can remove your existing decorations and replace them with Christmas decorations. I didn’t want to build a new hook, so I used what I already had. The original artworks were collected over several weeks and replaced by beautifully illuminated wall hangings.
Opt for a pre-lit bouquet gives it an extra glow and you need to add a battery to light it. It’s so easy and makes a real statement on the wall.

I think it adds a lot to a room and can be used to make a really big statement. I chose a Christmas bouquet of frozen flowers to put on the table. It’s an easy choice, partly because the color goes well with the fire and tiles around it, and also because I like big, full Christmas wreaths. I also liked that it didn’t hang too far on either side.
If you are not lucky enough to have a fireplace in your home office that you can decorate for Christmas, don’t worry. You can achieve a similar effect on a sideboard or cabinet. You can even hang one from the window or hang one on the wall of your desk. If you don’t use an oven, get creative.
