I think the most important thing you need to know before starting a cake business from home is that it will give you the best job in the world. You have been a part of so many special moments, you have made so many people smile, your art and skills have brought joy to so many families, it is something to be truly proud of. There will be long days and long nights, you’ll need to buy extra storage for cans, molds, cutters, and you just can’t get through Lakeland without “popping.” But it’s a really great job that’s much more than a cake.
